Fun Back-to-School #2 Pencil Picture Frame Craft

Is there annihilation meliorate than a freshly sharpened #2 pencil? Today we are using my favorite school supply to make a #2 pencil picture frame that can proudly display those first day of schoolhouse pictures.

This back to school craft is slap-up for kids of all ages and would make a fun first day of school craft to have dwelling memories of a successful first day of class.

We sharpened pencils to different lengths to go around the frame. We did this with v layers of pencils on each side, but if you were doing this with a group of kids and didn't accept all the time in the world to sharpen pencils, i or two layers could work as well!

#2 Pencil Frame for Dorsum to School Pictures Craft

Supplies Needed

• iv×6 wooden picture frame
• Acrylic paint (we used a aureate xanthous)
• Wood glue
• Sponge brush
• twenty pencils
• Pencil sharpener
• (optional) Craft sealer/decoupage like mod podge

Directions

Step i

Paint your frame a solid color using the acrylic paint.

Permit to dry completely.

Step 2

Use the pencil sharpener to sharpen the pencils to the right length.

Y'all'll want 2 pencils in every length, descending in length to reach the inside of the frame.

Each side of the frame will accept v pencils in place.

Step 3

Spread the woods mucilage onto each side of the frame and place the pencils in the right position.

Allow to dry completely. The wood glue should dry out clear.

Step 4

Utilize the sponge castor to coat the pencils in the decoupage sealer.

Brand certain to get the ends of the pencils completely coated so that they won't mark one time the seal has set.

Allow to dry out overnight.

1. Paint your wooden frame with paint and let dry.
